Very benevolent of you. lol As for Del Amitri....you must not be thinking of "Nothing Ever Happens" (my personal favorite). I am recovering nicely from the trauma of all this heavy decision making.

Mark, great question and I tried...I really really tried....but the idea left me so horrified that I finally decided that I would swim my way to civilization just for a more diverse musical selection. Okay, if I absolutely HAVE to.....here is what I would pick (with one caveat...and you are going to humor me or I'm not going to this imaginary island at all!!!) 1. Aimee Mann 2. R.E.M. 3. U2 4. Ryan Adams (and this includes his back catalog with Whiskeytown dammit) 5. Nina Simone 6. Snow Patrol 7. Stereophonics 8. Page France 9. Foo Fighters and my number 10 caveat I spoke of earlier..... I get to make a mix cd to take with me of songs that i love, by artists whose entire catalog does not interest me. :) Now see the fact that this concerns me so much is somewhat disconcerting...because now I feel that I have spat upon some other bands that I left out (poor poor Counting Crows and Elbow and Bell x1 and Margot and the Nuclear So &So's and Patsy Cline and Johnny Cash and and and and and.....aaaaaaahhhhh...the idea is agony!!!) Must banish this horrible thought from my head. :D
