More about me:
The Toronto based band, whose members originally hail from Guelph, Montreal, Vancouver and Charlottetown, PEI — has a sound inspired by '70s punk rock and '80s new wave, and is guided by a love of fun, well-crafted and danceable pop songs.
It all started during Art Brut's show in Toronto in late 2005, frontman Eddie Argos demanded that each and every member of the audience form a band by the time they returned. Taking this message to heart, Christina, Scott and Andrew made the decision right then and there, scraped together some instruments and had their first practice the next weekend. After a year of riding the learning curve, the band coaxed John to join the fold, which immediately solidified the rhythm section. After a long search for a singer, Linda and Kostas appeared at the same time. Both joined up, and the final lineup was set.
With their recently recorded EP, "All On C", The Craft Economy is bringing their fun and intensity to the already vibrant Toronto-area indie music scene, expanding their fan base with every gig—especially with the band's unique approach to show promotion and marketing.
