More about me:
undergrad in SG. Constantly looking out for new artistes/music, especially those from the alt/indie/rock genres. In general, just receptive to anything except kpop, europop, death metal. IMO, it is important share your preferences, as well as respect other people's preferences!! Too many a times, I hear a certain troll say "how can you like (insert artiste name here), he/she/they sux.!! You suck for liking them too!". Really irks me, and goes to show how shallow you are as a person.
First band that I really like back then (like... when I was around 14?) was MLTR. They really rocked my days of youth and the many years to come, and the leaving of Søren Madsen made me sad :( IMHO, the band gradually lost its magic, even though Blue Night was awesome.
I then moved on to try out other stuff, and realized that acoustic-styles really appealed to me. More importantly, I look up to artistes who are self-made, write and sing their own songs, and not be subjected to external influences (like demands from their own labels) which would have hampered their flow and style.
That's all for my rants!! Other than that, I'm just a chronically boring geek, constantly on headphones,
