Friends: if you are already any kind of Beatles fan, run, run, RUN to the closest place you can purchase the "LOVE" album. It is a collection of inspired mash-ups of the Beatles' catalog (with the full cooperation and consent of Paul and Ringo, as well as Yoko and Olivia) that was assembled by George Martin and his son,Giles, as the soundtrack for a Beatles-themed show assembled by Circ du Soleil.

Yeah, I've been listening to a lot of Ray Wylie Hubbard - I interviewed him for an advance about a show he's playing in about 10 days. Do NOT be fooled - Ray Wylie is NOT just some country guy. His lyrics have an extraordinary depth and strength of imagery that goes far, FAR beyond Nashville's pap.

To my friends: I'm as surprised as you might be at some of the songs in my "Most Played" list. With an iTunes library of 13,500 (or there abouts) songs, who knew, eh? I spend most of my time listening to the thousands of songs I've ripped from CDs that haven't yet been played once.
