"Freaking A. Every time I hear this girl, I am nearly brought to tears. She shames practically every female "singer" of this day; we really lost a gem when we lost Aaliyah. Not only was she beautiful, but she maintained an image that girls could and should look up to. She respected herself and rode on her immense talent, not sex or money. She was smart--a straight-A student who cared... I really wish she were still around, both so I could enjoy her undoubtedly expanding range of work, but also so she could show today's pop stars what's up. Ok I'm gonna go sulk now... :( RIP--"
