"A Cure classic translated into a bossa nova version like only Nouvelle Vague can do... love it."

"I am so digging Band of Horses...this is one of their new ones, and if you want to download it for free from iTunes, go to the iTunes Store, click the REDEEM link under QuickLinks, and enter the code NXTWEHF6LMX6"

"My wife turned me onto this retro band from Louisville KY. It's like I've been magically transported in time to an alternate universe in 1986 where the Cure has joined forces with Winger, the Fixx and When in Rome. So of course, being the old fart that I am, I TOTALLY DIG IT! You might too."

"I've had a crush on Over the Rhine's Karin Bergquist since I lived in Cincinnati in the 90s. That voice! That face! My favorite version is the mix from the TV series Third Watch. Check out this song, from a band that's been likened to the Cowboy Junkies. Great stuff!"

""How we like to sing along....though the words are wrong."
A classic masterpiece that led the way for numerous Brit-pop successors. In fact, I think the entire soundtrack of the movie "Love, Actually" was inspired by this tune. Listen and decide for yourself. :)"

"God, how could I let this one slip past my radar? Brit-pop meets Dead Can Dance...can't stop listening to this track off of one of my fave CDs: "Dreamworld: Essential Late Night Listening"."

"This is the moodiest, most melancholy and beautiful downbeat tune I've ever heard. Completely composed of samples from several obscure selections, I never tire of listening to it. A great example of chillout, late-night trip-hop. See what you think. "

... yea "flir" reminds me a lot of "delirium" from back in the day. if you like them, check out "elika" - i sent you a track. i hold them in a similar range - but more closer to "lamb" crossed with "cocteau twins." just a bit more grit or edginess to them... enjoy!

Hey weeve, thnx for the recs. That's really quite freaky as I was just listening to Historia De La Musica Rock today. Wow..great minds..etc. Have been getting into some Ben Double M, Pheugoo, Alex H, Earworm, bit of Illuminoids and after not liking his stuff for a while, back into Party Ben of late. Feelin' the variety in your collection and looking forward to more quality recs. Cheers from the Friendly Isles.

Been saying this a lot today, but diggin' the ecelectic choices and broad varied range of styles. Can't fault anyone with Go Home Productions on rotation. Feelin' the reviews, comments and recommendations also. Downloaded that Andrew Rothman, Sly Stone cover per your recommend...good call ..an interesting perhaps less soulful but strangely poignant treatment. Thanks for the add.
